Q) How much are registration fees?

A) The fees for the each season will be released in May/ June when registration begins. Registering early provides the option to spread payments out instead of paying the whole amount in one lump sum.

 

Q) What are the different divisions/age categories in minor hockey

A) Initiation Minor (Pups, now U7) Players aged 5

     Initiation Major (Mites, now U7) Players age 6

     Novice (1st and 2nd year, now U9) Players aged 7-8

     Atom (1st and 2nd year, now U11) Players aged 9-10

     PeeWee (1st and 2nd year, now U13) Players aged 11-12

     Bantam (1st and 2nd year, now U15) Players aged 13-14

     Midget (1st, 2nd and 3rd year now U18) Players aged 15, 16, 17.

 

Placement is based on what age the player will be on December 31st of that year

 

Q) What are the different levels of hockey?

A) We have three different levels of hockey; 

  1. House or recreational league 
  2.  Developmental 
  3.  Rep

House league is open to players of all abilities. At the Novice division and up, players attend on ice evaluations and the teams are made up with players of even skill on each team. Development and Rep teams require players to try out.
